Buckley House offers ultrasonography for your pet.
This is an invaluable tool for diagnosing internal medical disorders e.g. liver, kidney and heart disease, with pregnancy scans also offered routinely.
It is non-invasive and for most cases you are welcome to stay with your pet.
We offer a full diagnostic work-up including; ultrasound, ECG, Radiography, Blood Pressure Monitoring and a visiting specialist cardiologist providing additional expertise.
Our veterinary surgeons monitor their cardiological patients regularly to ensure premium care.
Buckley House was one of the first veterinary surgeries in the country to install digital radiography on site.
This allows radiographs to be viewed in all consulting rooms and provides an up to date, diagnostic service to help care for your pet.
We also offer radiography for Hip and Elbow scoring in accordance with the Kennel Club scheme.
Radiography can aid in the diagnosis of heart and lung disease, tumours, foreign bodies and bone and joint disease e.g. osteo-arthritis and fractures.
We have multiple endoscopes available, suitable for the examination of respiratory, gastro-intestinal and urinary systems.
This allows for minimally invasive surgery allowing your pet a speedier recovery. Endoscopy is also invaluable as a means to obtain biopsies of areas that would be complicated to access and therefore avoids invasive surgery for your pet.
The operating surgeon is also able to record the endoscopy on DVD for you to see.
